The story of Espace S starts with the achievements of its CEO, Sheilla Sklar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Sheilla started her real\u00a0estate venture, following her move\u00a0to New York, during her early twenties. After completing a Barnard College degree, this adventurous woman was hired as a broker at Warren Lewis Sotheby’s International Real Estate in the late 80s, in Park Slope Brooklyn. An up and coming neighbourhood at the time, Park Slope is now home to Hollywood celebrities, renown artists and upstanding cultural institutions, thanks to the gentrification brought by property visionaries decades earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Love at first mountain<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After a vacation in Switzerland in the late 90s, Sheilla decided to relocate to Geneva, where she was hired as an investment broker and important player in the creation of SPG Intercity. Over the course of a ten year long collaboration with the company, Sheilla worked with multinationals, such as Pepsico, Nokia or Colgate Palmolive. She also made important investment sales to Tag Heuer and to Credit Suisse, as well as many international hedge funds and Swiss pension funds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2011, Sheilla became a senior broker for Christie\u2019s International Real Estate affiliate office in Geneva. At\u00a0SPG Finest Properties,\u00a0Sheilla’s\u00a0focus was primarily brokerage of luxurious properties in the French speaking side of Switzerland. She sold exceptional houses in Geneva, Vaud, Neuch\u00e2tel and Fribourg and in ski resorts, such as Crans Montana and the Val D’Anniviers, where she has an office and residence.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tailored Business<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Following her many years of experience in the field of commercial, industrial and residential real estate, she decided to strike out on her own and successfully registered her own company, Espace S S\u00e0rl, in Geneva on October 24th 2013.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the pandemic hit, leaving some of her mandates on hold, Sarah saw an opportunity to lend a hand to the family business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Espace S, which had grown by word of mouth over the course of a seven year venture, did not have any digital visibility. Thanks to the expertise of this local communications officer and journalist, that reality is in the past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Journalism to Digital Strategy<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Having grown up between Geneva and New York, Sarah has a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and a Professional Certificate in Journalism. Published as a young freelancer in a large array of local media, Sarah made a name for herself in the national scene, working for the likes of the Croix-Rouge genevoise, Gen\u00e8ve Tourisme, Time Out Switzerland or Le Matin Semaine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her knack for digital strategy and the rapidly evolving media market have led her to online communications. She is single-handedly responsible for all of the online content regarding Espace S.
